Days 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10!

A mobile phone is not always the best means of updating a blog and at times can be downright frustrating. Especially when out on the field with finite resources and struggling to overcome tiredness.
I completed the challenge very late on the 26th April after getting frustratingly lost just outside Eilat.
The challenge had started as a means of seeing a beautiful country, then as time went by and to my detriment, my competitive streak came out which meant the ride became more of a case of survival as some poor decisions and crashes ensued.
It had become more about just finishing than finishing quickly.
Overall the experience had brought out elements which I never knew I had in me before and was indeed an incredible challenge.
Israel really is a wonderful place with welcoming and hospitable people and a mountain biking mecca that should be on every avid mtb’ers radar for places to visit.
I shall be writing a full report when I’ve returned home to England and there are no interruptions. Its very difficult sitting here typing away when there’s a holiday to enjoy.
