Tour Aotearoa Day 2

It was a bit too hot for me today. There were sections with some very loose gravel and many longer ones that were more compacted but with logging trucks that would kick up plumes of choking dust as they passed by. Combined with the heat and the continuously rolling terrain made for some hard riding.
Good to get to the ferry at Pouto Point and rest for three hours, then again whilst on the specially chartered boat.
Made it to Mount Eden, one of our Checkpoints, where a small group of us are bivvying.
